For the 19th anniversary of the Heart of Belly Dance (HoBD) retreats, we’re hosting master teacher and choreographer, Esmeralda! Explore the theme of experience and artistry in belly dance. Esmeralda will teach all the belly dance classes, as well as lead the discussion night and perform at the hafla. She’ll thoughtfully weave the theme of how to reflect upon, and enhance, your belly dance journey through your life experiences. Yoga, salsa and special topics teachers to be confirmed soon!

HoBD Experience & Artistry will culminate in a choreography by Esmeralda. Dancers are welcome to take as many or few classes as they wish. At the closing show dancers may perform the choreography in celebration of all the learning and growth over the weeklong intensive.

Our retreat will be at the Blue Spirit Retreat Center in Nosara, Costa Rica.
